Once deciding to buy a brand new camera or simply upgrading the the one which you have, there are many factors to consider. There are some fantastic makes and models of cameras that can be purchased, but a good secure point and shoot camera is merely as good as a digital single zoom lens camera. An average person uses their camera to consider family shots, and vacation images and though they do not really understand mega pixels, resolution and exposure, as long as their camera takes a good picture, they will be pleased with the results. Well worth the cost.
By For my Money
Well worth the cost. I purchased this little camera as a replacement to a 7 year old Samsung. This camera has so many features. It takes movies, photos, and panarama photos, of course it works automatically, or you can set it to use manually. It was easy to set up ( date /time) but you will need to print out the manual to understand how to use the all the various fuctions. It comes complete with a CD, and US cord. It has limited built in memory so you will want to get a memory card. I am really happy with this purchase and I think you will be too.

Worth the price
By j. c.
I had/have an older Kodak C series I bought years ago. Took it to Europe and took over 3000 pic’s. A relative who was along had another camera and did not get nearly as many shots. Her battery kept running out. I just went into a shop and bought more AA’s and was back in business. So, when I decided to get a newer camera, the last thing I wanted was one that had a battery that had to be recharged. So far this had been a good buy for me. It works, it uses standard flash cards and it uses AA batteries. And I can view the cards from my old camera on this camera as well. Yeah, there is a learning curve to a new device and it isn’t a $2000 camera but it works and it is usable almost anywhere. And anyone who would think a camera in this price range is waterproof is dreaming. It is what it is and that is fine by me.

I like it but I guess I didn’t read it right
By Gary L. Smith
I like it but I guess I didn’t read it right. I thought it had a l-ion battery & it uses AA batteries. Other than that it seems to be a typical Kodak product. Easy to use & a nice size for putting in your pocket I already bought several Kodak products & liked them all except for a few minor gripes. It takes a good picture if you are a casual photographer.

Right now, I’m not going to tell you that you can take better photos with a point and shoot camera than you can with an DSLR. But, I’m never going to notify you that you cannot take good photos with them either. If a point and shoot has an aperture priority, shutter release priority, or a tutorial shooting mode, you may have some pretty good control over the particular picture will look like. But, even if it doesn’t have custom shooting modes, you can still get favorable results. After all, there are groups of photographers that pride themselves on getting great photos using only their mobile phone cameras.

With this kind of comprehensive input, you’ll receive more than enough guideline so there’s not really a single chance to make wrong decision.
