5Not 12.7 mp but 10 mp
By BorisBulldog
I have this exact camera and the Leica Tech Spec says the highest resolution is at “4:3 format: 3648 x 2736 (10 mp)”

Great camera and the close up/macro setting is unbelievable- down to 1ccm/.39″

The pictures in RAW are unbelievable and the free Adobe Lightroom is fantastic.

This won’t replace my 1962 Leica M3, but it beats my iPhone 5s and since I added a Mobi Eye Fi card the pics are sent to my Photo Stream instantly, just like the iPhone!

5Very powerful tool for the money!
By keith darwin
For a pocket camera, there is no finer light capture device on the market. Very bright wide lens with a good zoom range. The menus are intuitive and you can bounce around them quickly. I had the Sony first and it is a good machine. The Sony build felt more solid and it seemed to focus faster (a little less lag, maybe), but the Leica is simply better at photography. That is the goal! Ignore the megapixel count and pony up for the Leica.

5Great camera!
By Robert Gardner
Love this camera. Best point and shoot I’ve ever used. Took it on a recent vacation in Italy and got some amazing shots … and I only used the automatic focus. As I continue to explore other features of the Leica D-Lux 6 I know I’ll be able to take even more incredible photographs. This camera costs more than others but I feel the quality is worth the price.
