Fujfilm FinePix S2800HD is the latest model of the S Series digital camera, launched in mid 2010. S2800HD claims to be the world’s smallest 18x zoom camera.

Equipped with 18x Fujinon optical zoom lens and a small lightweight body, this camera really packs a punch. Especially when matched with its 14 megapixel sensor, and well balanced feature-set including 720p HD movie and Full 1080p HD still image capture.

HD Movie Capture . While the S2800HD has the ability to capture movies in HD quality 720p HD; it also has a Mini HDMI Port for quick and easy connection to a home theater system. The S2800HD also works with Fujifilm’s optional HD Player Kit, which includes an HD card reader that connects to your HDTV via HDMI Cable for true digital transfer of HD quality and a wireless remote control for video playback from the comfort of your couch–and you maximize your HD experience.

Smile/Blink Detection . In addition to Fujifilm’s signature Face Detection, the FinePix S2800HD has two fun and valuable features–Smile Detection recognizes the precise moment your subject smiles and releases the shutter only when this happens; and Blink Detection warns you if any of your subjects have blinked so that you can re-take the photo if necessary.

Tracking Auto Focus . The FinePix S2800HD also has Tracking Auto Focus, which allows users to track a moving subject automatically for still picture capture.

Motion Panorama Mode with Auto Stitch . Simply select Panorama mode and start shooting. Then, align the “+” symbol into the circle and the shutter will automatically release to seamlessly stitch the shots together in-camera. Perfect for landscape, large buildings or even party shots!
