Fujifilm FinePix Z950EXR is a super high resolution Fujifilm compact digital camera which has been released in August 2011. Super Resolution technology identifies flat areas with small brightness contrast and edges with a large amount of brightness distinction, and processes them differently for maximum results, rather than applying the same treatment for the entire image. This method gives the impression of high resolution to make a high picture quality with minimal image degradation. Fujifilm Z950EXR features the EXR CMOS sensor, which uses Fujifilm’s proprietary EXR technology that examines each scene and switches between three modes (High Sensitivity and Low Noise / Dynamic Range / High Resolution) to achieve the optimum picture quality in bright scenes, dark scenes or even in high contrast conditions.
