Nikon D7000 16.2MP DX-Format CMOS Digital SLR with 3.0-Inch LCD
Nikon D7000 has been released in September 2010. The D7000 is the ideal next camera for D-SLR owners who want to further indulge their passion for photography with a camera that boasts more advanced features providing creative power. Like any DSLR, the key feature on the front of the D7000 is the lens mount. In this case, it’s a Nikon F bayonet-type, and all functions are possible with AF NIKKOR glass. As always, you can spend a small fortune on lenses, but the 5.8x kit lens (18-105mm, 27-157.5mm 35mm equivalent) with built-in Vibration Reduction is a good start.
Nikon D7000 comes equipped with Nikon’s new EXPEED 2 processing system, a new 39 point autofocus (AF) system (with 9 cross-point sensors) and a new 2016 pixel RGB 3D matrix metering system. There is a 1080p HD video capability with automatic AF, an up to 6 frame per second (FPS) continuous shooting rate and the ability to capture up to 100 images continuously, a shutter rated for 150,000 cycles and dual memory card slots. The body is a magnesium and composite blend, weather sealed, and features a 3.0-inch LCD monitor.
