Panasonic LUMIX DMC-G3 16 MP Micro Four-Thirds Interchangeable Lens Camera with 3-Inch Touch Screen LCD
Panasonic Lumix DMC-G3 is one of new DSLR camera made by Panasonic and has been released in January 2011. This Micro Four Third Mirrorless Interchangeable lens has 16.6 MP sensors and will create high quality images, plus 1920 x 1080 full-High Definition (HD) video recording capability with stereo sound in AVCHD. The LUMIX G3 provides a dedicated video button that can be used to switch to video capture quickly without changing modes. An improved focusing system promises the world’s fastest auto focus, with 0.1 second AF, thanks to the camera increasing the sensor drive to 120fps, compared to 60fps, during AF. This gives the camera the same ultra fast focusing speed as the Panasonic Lumix GH2.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-G3 looks very much like a G2 that’s been shrunk in the wash, somehow managing to fit a 3 inch fully rotating, free-angle LCD screen and electronic viewfinder into its diminutive dimensions of 115.2 x 83.6 x 46.7mm. The G3 ups the ante when it comes to video, improving on the G2′s 720p format by offering Full 1080i HD 1920 x 1080 movies at 60/50 frames per second, and 720p HD 1280 x 720 movies at 60 fps, both in the AVCHD (MPEG-4/H.264) format.
