Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2 DSLR Camera 16.05 MP CMOS Sensor With 3-Inch LCD And Live View Function

Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2 DSLR Camera is one of G-System Panasonic DSLR Camera which has been released in September 2010. This is review of Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2. The DMC-DH2 is micro system camera which combines a downsized body with advanced functions that achieve both high performance and operational comfort. The intuitive touch-control shooting, which is popular with the DMC-G2 for its outstanding usability, also comes with DMC-GH2. Combined with easy-to-see free-angle Intelligent LCD and the newly developed Multi Aspect Wide Screen LVF (Live View Finder), the DMC-GH2 achieves highest ever operational comfort for users to concentrate on the shooting.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2 is a new Micro Four Thirds compact system camera with a 16 megapixel multi-aspect Live MOS sensor and Full 1080p HD video with continuous autofocus at variable frame rates, including cine standard 24fps. On the front of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2 have a small focus-assist and self-timer indicator lamp, lens release button, lens mount, and rubberized hand-grip. Unlike a conventional DSLR camera which uses a phase detection auto-focus system, the DMC-GH2 employs the same Contrast AF that is commonly used by compact cameras. As with the EVF, experienced photographers will now be tutting loudly at the thought of having to use a traditionally slower system.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2 Features Summary

  • 16.05 MP Live MOS sensor adopts the high speed digital νMaicovicon. High speed operation of digital circuit to make low-noise photodiode and transistor with reduced wiring to achieve both high resolution and high aperture-ratio
  • Light Speed AF of approx. 0.1 second which is achieved by reducing the detection time for focusing by doubling the drive speed from 60 frames per second to 120 frames per second
  • Maximum sensitivity setting of ISO 12800 allows shooting in extremely dark places
  • 5 fps for capturing fast subject motion, 40 fps for capturing race cars and other subjects that are difficult to catch with the naked eyes
  • Advance Noise Reduction capture clear and beautiful images even when shooting at high ISO sensitivity levels
  • Record high-resolution full-HD 1,920 x 1,080 movies in astonishing smooth 60i (NTSC) / 50i (PAL), doubling the sensor output from 24p / 25p to 60p / 50p
  • Manual Movie Mode, which lets you set the shutter speed and aperture manually to make even more impressive movies
  • iA Mode automatically and simultaneously activates 4 advanced detection functions: The MEGA O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) to detect hand-shake, Face Detection AF/AE

  • Intuitive touch control system
  • LVF (Live View Finder) retains the outstanding viewability of an optical viewfinder and can also display information about camera settings that you can see without taking his or her eyes off the subject
  • Dust Reduction System in the DMC-GH2 helps eliminate this possibility by placing the Supersonic Wave Filter in front of the Live MOS sensor, between the low-pass filter and shutter
  • DMC-GH2 was created by pursuing both an elegant finish and easy comfort for users who demand the best in both photos and movies
  • Create 3D images without distortion or time lag between left and right images, even for moving objects
  • D-range Control offers even more natural looking by optimizing the exposure for each part of an image, preventing blocked shadows and blown highlights
  • AF Tracking continues to track the subject even if it moves until you press the shutter
  • MEGA O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) that’s built into Micro Four Thirds lenses detects and compensates for blurring caused by hand-shake
  • Recording media : SD Memory Card, SDHC Memory Card, SDXC Memory Card
  • Battery live : Approx. 330 images (LCD), Approx. 340 images (LVF) with H-FS014042
Approx. 320 images (LCD), Approx. 330 images (LVF) with H-VS014140
