Sony Alpha SLTA33 DSLR with Translucent Mirror Technology and 3D Sweep Panorama
Sony Alpha SLT A33 DSLR camera is one of new Sony DSLR Camera which has been released in August 2010. This Sony DSLR released together with SLT A55. The A55 equipped with translucent mirror design which offer live view with full-time fast phase-detection AF whether in stills or movie shooting. In contrast with conventional DSLR cameras, Translucent Mirror Technology uses a fixed, translucent mirror that splits the optical pathway between the main image sensor and a separate phase-detection autofocus sensor. Translucent Mirror Technology overcomes other conventional limitations of DSLR Camera, with its simplified mechanical blueprint shrinking camera size and complexity. This makes the SLT A55 and SLT A33 a compelling selection for sporty photographers who want to aim spontaneous family moments and travel scenes with less to carry.
The Sony Alpha A33 DSLR Camera lacks one feature found in the SLT A55, a built-in GPS receiver. It’s still possible to geo-tag images and movies from the A33, but doing so will rely on an external GPS logging device and PC software that can backtrack to calculate the location at which images and movies were shot. The Sony Alpha SLT-A33 gives you most of the functionality of a digital SLR or interchangeable lens camera, at a similar price. It offers reliably consistent 14-megapixel stills, 1080i video, a tilting screen and compatibility with 30+ Alpha lenses.
