Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-HX100 16.2 MP Exmor R CMOS Digital Still Camera with Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 30x Optical Zoom Lens, 3D Sweep Panorama and Full HD 1080 Video
Sony Cyber-Shot HX100V is one of Sony compact digital camera which has been released is February 2011. This compact camera can be categorized as super-zoom digital camera because it has 30X optical zoom range for crisply-detailed close-ups of distant subjects. The HX100V has GPS enable, same feature with HX9V. These new H Series camera is a great addition to the already explosive high zoom market, loaded with cutting-edge innovations by Sony to shoot stills and video. Designed to help users learn about the cameras’ features and how to use them on the spot, the “In-Camera Guide” is accessible from the menu button on the camera. Users can search by purpose or keyword and easily access the functions they seek.
Sony Cyber-shot HX100V hits the shelves some 2 years following on from the original Sony HX1 model. The latter was the instigator of the “Sweep Panorama” (live panorama capture that’s auto-stitched in camera) craze, and the HX100V not only takes this a step further forward but amps up the features elsewhere too. The HX100V also delivers a Full HD 1080p movie mode at 50 frames per second (60fps for the US release) using the company’s AVCHD carrier and H.264 compression. Files are immediately replayable on the camera, but the native MTS file format will need to be converted to MOV for most computer-based players and editors (excluding VLC).
